Intercollegiate Summer Internship
We are an intimate, holistic, and intercollegiate Christian student organization, inviting applicants interested in learning all aspects of the campus ministry field. The interns who fill this position should expect to learn the field from top to bottom and will complete this program ready to serve in their local club, equipped with outreach tools and a broad vision of service.
It’s essential that applicants to this position have a strong desire to serve God with others on a team, demonstrate an interest in people, and understand the importance of attending to even the smallest details.
Teams
Local Team
We know that serving on a team is not only essential but also exciting. For this reason, the interns will be put into two teams: the local team and the travel team. The local team will serve on a campus for the duration of the internship and will carry out campus outreach activities, and prepare for the next semester. Because this team will serve locally, interns are permitted to apply to be part-time. The orientation Trip to Austin is required for the Local Team interns.
Travel Team
The travel team will carry out the same responsibilities of campus outreach and preparation for the next semester, but on different campuses throughout the Mountain states. The carrying out of all these activities will be done in coordination with the local team at each campus and will last about one week per location. The Intercollegiate Summer Internship will provide lodging, food and transportation for those on the travel team. Because of the significant commitment involved with the travel team, we expect participation to be full-time. However, you are not expected to travel to every campus. You can select preferred destinations (based on your availability) on the schedule below. The orientation trip to Austin is required for both the Travel Team interns.
